Hello. I realize that most of you may be unacquainted to the methods that makes the day/night cycle playable, so here we go.
First, if you're on Warband, close it. Then open it again. Press Configure, the second option as seen in the picture.
Then after that, you'll see a tab open up. Press the Video tab, and you'll see this.
Load Textures on Demand needs to be unticked as in OFF. Pixel Shaders may also affect things for some computers, but it doesn't for me. Next up, go to the Advanced tab, and you'll see this.
Both options should be ticked OFF. Edit mode is only necessary if you're a mapper, and mappers rarely leave this on when actually playing the game because it slows it down so much. Force single threading is some CPU shit I'm not gonna bother to explain, but leave it unticked.
This should fix most of your lag problems when it comes to the day/night cycle, so have fun and enjoy.
