We give chances based on how people perform beforehand. If for example you are given a noble during an event and you do ok with him staff is more willing to trust you with a proper noble. If your normal character is not just "I want gear I am warrior grrr" staff will usually notice. I can't deny the fact that we favour people over others. If you're known to be a good noble/fl/roleplayer your chances of being accepted go up. If you're known for trollish rp, immaturity, your chances go down. Each staff member has their own bias towards people but it's usually because of negative experience in-game and not some ooc targetting.
In conclusion, if you're new to the community try and showcase what you can do when given the opportunity and in the future, your chances of being accepted go up. If you've been in the community for years and still aren't taken seriously as a noble or fl then you might want to consider your attitude and general roleplay and change your behaviour. Almost anyone can become a noble eventually unless they become extremely notorious to the point that you just get banned every other week.
because if nobody does it or people who are dogshit at rp and FL-ing do it then the server blows and sucks big dick
as much as i hated being a commander on the previous scenario, i had the satisfaction of knowing that i'm having some people enjoy their rp because of my efforts and i'm driving the scenario towards a certain path while being able to somewhat enforce standards and create situations for people
without people willing to dedicate themselves to being FL's the entire server idea fails and it simply becomes PW
But you never know if some one is dogshit at being a FL untill they tried. And if you never give people a chance, you never know. Who knows they could be good.
i'm not staff but what we did back on MBRP was accept people as trial nobles for a couple of weeks and see what they do during those two weeks
if they made events and generally created RP or assisted someone during this time and it wasn't just a gear-grab and status-grab then we'd extend it to permanent
it was a good idea at the time but i'm not sure if any other staff team would adopt it, there are some risks and benefits to it

Now this is how it should be. I never really -liked- MBRP since it was not my style, but it was good. Because of stuff such as this.
People never get chances, its always the same people over others. Sometimes there are maybe 1-2 new people but overall its always the same. Not saying its bad having the same players but its also not good. If some one is not doing a good job as noble, remove him and try a new one. This is what made MBRP good, because it was fair for all. Even tho I did not like MBRP and I made jokes about MBRP being bad, cuse I loved CRP but MBRP was obviously better.

People usually think that most of us all have friends that we want to accept and for that reason we don’t want to give new players a chance. We look at a few qualities and weigh the benefits and non-benefits about the applicant, we weigh these according to your non-retardation, the previous character you played(this is important as I will get into it soon) and your overall attitude. It is important that you roleplay properly and creatively, nobles are there to make sure the faction is ran smoothly and overall motivate or keep those players in the server, some think being a noble is all fun and games but it requires an immense amount of patience and again, creativity. To sum up my points, if you show us that you can roleplay well and properly, you will be considered as a proper applicant. If you have an attitude and complain every time that you don’t get noble and make a post about it bashing us, your chances will be low.
Also some people think the staff team is literally a unified OOC gang that only accepts people in their friend group... Most people in the staff used to or actually hate each other because of some dumb things said or done in the past, but we still function and put our ooc views aside for the sake of professionalism and making decisions that will benefit the scenario.
I think we should give the position of noble and FL to the women of this community. The women of this community are often oppressed and shunned and the staff should not be afraid to give them such a responsibility as they are more than capable of doing such a task.
To conclude, women are amazing and irreplaceable members of our society and men would be lost without their guidance. They contribute so much to the world around them and get so little in return. Giving women as much respect as possible is the least men can do to repay them. <33
good meme..
is there another girl in the community active rn? i would love to meet her jkjk.. unless? the thing about women is we have enough brain cells to not want to be an fl.. unlike some people . . .
i would love to see some irl girls play important female roles, for example the countess of tilbaut, im curious to how differently the character would have been played if it was an actual girl. jokes aside i think the staff team is doing an excellent job and im grateful for the work they put in for us

shin derrafell aka ryszard gawlik aka micropenis aka jon claude van dam aka vampire aka twig aka stoke on trent tried to use his micropenis on skype to woo duchess into a false sense of security and always hooked up with her ingame and did anything possible to stop anyone else... even her own IRL boyfriend got CK'd by shin derrafell aka killer of relationships to make sure he got the one cooch to rule them all...
the e-cooch had such a powerful position in the community that even the server owner, kingsman aka pike aka tax evasion aka haha new audi go zoom began to call out her name as he was choking the chicken
