That is rather a Suggestion then a Question but can you guys please stop naming your characters after acctual irl towns? I do not wanna offend or doubt someone, just like I see it, for example I already saw "Marbach" (A town in southgermany, quite known for his horses), or "Strasburg" (Big town in France near the german border, also quite known), I mean, Always if I see that I have to think on these towns. I also don't want to say that everyone that has such a Name knows that this is a irl town, but though Maybe those that know it, please avoid it
Nametags were disabled in Krenn 3 already and, I believe, will continue to be disabled. This does not affect the small black box with a name that you see when getting close to someone

Doesn’t prevent name tag metagaming. Merely causes confusion during fights. Think this is a bad idea!

well, we managed without that stupid overhead name tag for an extremely long time before crp decided to do roleplay on pw

It does prevent nametag metagaming over longer distances, at the very least. And it is also more immersive.
If it's just a decision from the staff team instead of being part of the mod, a poll could be a decent idea? I don't particularily prefer this either, causes a lot of confusion as Hrod said. Little reward.
How does not having the overhead tags make fights more confusing? I’m an absolutely terrible fighter and never not known who is who in a fight given most people are wearing uniforms in big battles and in smaller fights it’s easy to keep track of who’s who.
The black box is a necessary evil because of the limitations of the game (there was an RP server that disabled them and it caused some confusion specifically in dialogue), the overhead tags are, at best, a really dumb-looking crutch.
After being bored as fuck I´ve looked through the accepted bios to see what are we dealing with. And from what I´ve seen are actually better results than I have expected, about a half are just meat shields or useless professions just for endlessly making money. To be honest I have expected a lot worse.
I wanted to know if the staff team is accepting equipment just based on the character and if the equipment is relevant towards his backstory, or if you accepting equipment based on looking on the overall number of armed characters with little point in roleplay other than just fight (don´t want to anger someone, but it is true).
Also if you would be limiting such characters after some point to encourage more passive, interesting characters. As more passive characters never hurt anyone (they did)
We can't exactly force anyone to play a fully passive character. We've discussed needless fighting and will deal harsher with cases where a fight breaks out solely because someone felt like fighting. We're trying our hardest to enforce proper roleplay, but that doesn't mean people can't play warriors. Everyone is free to play whatever character is most appealing to them.
Equipment is handed out based on how interesting staff thinks your character is and whether or not it makes sense for that character to have actual equipment from the get go.
